Dawn and family I’m sorry so very sorry for your loss. Bruce was a great guy it’s been many years since I’ve seen him and Dawn but growing up with them around and he was always so kind. This world lost a sweet guy.
From Brandt and Danielle Hines:
We’re so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Bruce coaching our Lions Club bball. He’d always smile and encourage us. I remember once being wide open at the 3 point line and he was yelling shoot it! So I did and somehow made it. I looked at him and he yelled “you take those shots!” I shot it again the next time down without wasting any time, or running the play, and air balled it and he said, smiling, and maybe laughing, “it’s good to pass it too.” He was a great coach and a great man.

From Eric Fonnesbeck:
I am schocked to hear about Bruce. He is a friend from my childhood days in Star ward. He always had a positive attitude and a smile to share. I was impressed with his work for the hospital for the Fesitval of Trees, and the many long hours that activity took. He will be missed immensely.
Thanks for your friendship and strength.
From Donna Schrenk:
Bruce was such a sweet man! He checked on my Dad (who he never met) by messaging me weekly. He was always the first to tell me to go to bed when it was late and I was on Facebook because I couldn't sleep. So, I'd tell him to go to bed too! I love that he made a point to make everyone's birthdays so special! He was the "adopted grandpa" to my kids - he even called my son who's on his mission in Canada for his birthday. He will be missed! This big sweetheart of a man is what the world should strive to emulate!
From Kimberly Egan Whitaker :
Bruce always had a great smile, laugh, and a hug. So kind and caring. I would see him every year when I’d take my service class to help set up for the Festival of Trees. Prayers for Dawn, Justin, and your sweet family.

This hurts my heart to the deepest parts of my core. The loss of this amazing man is deep. My deepest condolences to all his family and loved ones.

From Bryce, Nancy and Eric Hanks:
So saddened to hear of Bruce's passing. I grew up with Bruce. I, along with others, spent many Sunday afternoons playing ball games in the Beck yard. I also survived a scooter crash riding behind Bruce when we tangled with a big dog. We laughed about it through the years. Eric loved Bruce. He would always give Eric a "pop"--tap on the head, followed by a soda when we delivered beans to Haney Seed or visited Nancy who worked for Bruce there. Eric will miss the annual visit from Santa (Bruce). Though Eric would say, "You Bruce" - he would deny it followed by a hearty, "Ho, Ho, Ho." He will be missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
