From Stephanie Warr Jensen:
Sending prayers for the Jones family. My favorite “Mr. Jones” memory was during 6th grade, we had to make the transition from having school parties to the cruel world of 6th grade and no school parties. I believe it was Valentine’s Day and Mr Jones had a test scheduled that day — no party. We cleverly decided to throw a surprise party in lieu of the test thinking “how could Mr. Jones refuse this party” Well, we had our party snacks but still had to take the test. Mr. Jones took his job seriously and made us better for it. Thank you for fond memories and your service to our community!!
From Pat and Shan Cahoon:
Bill loved his Almo Friends and always made you feel special. The last time I got to feel that love was when I was outside the Tracy Store waiting for Pat to run in and see if they had any Big Delicious Peanutbutter Cookies. When Bill heard I was out in the car. He said I got to see her. Out he came struggling to walk and couldn’t hear well and he gave me that amazing smile!!! We had the sweetest talk!! He and Annalee were my ideal couple to work towards and my parents were so happy to see them working in the Temple, too. Hugs and Prays from our Family to Yours with lots of Love!!
From Kandy Bruesch :

From K Shaw:
Bill Jones was always kind. He would come into the Assessor’s Office. I’d make him ownership maps and he would give me a page full of quotes that he had written or found. I loved getting those pages. To the family, my thoughts go with you. He was amazing person and He will be missed.
From Tyson Pace:

From Leanna Parks:
I loved Bill from first time I met him. He was always so kind and unassuming. He had a great name. Laura married Rod with his father being William Dean. How ironic our father was Dean William. I’ve enjoyed the rare occasion that I’ve been there to help brand. Bill has been a great example and hard worker for many. Thoughts and prayers to AnnaLee and all his children and families. Leanna Parks

Bill Jones is a legend! No matter what the situation he always made life look good. I cherished his legendary “ letters”! Back to back pages of priceless humor and words of wisdom! If I wanted to end my day with a good note and a giggle I would just open my bedside drawer and grab one of “Bill’s Letters”! No matter how many times I read them, my day would end in a giggle! You will be missed Bill, but never forgotten!
Thank you for being you.
From Reggie Teeter:

Lots of memories of "Mr. Jones". He was a great teacher when he taught in Almo. Loved playing softball at recess. And who can forget the comedy acts at events. Thanks Bill for all the laughs. He will be missed! Condolences to Annalee and the family.
