TWIN FALLS - Patricia Ann “Patty” Moon, an 80-year-old resident of Twin Falls, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Patty was born April 1, 1946, to Charles John Moon and Afton Wilkins Moon of Declo. Patty was born with Congenital Hydrocephalus. As it was an uncommon defect at that time and no medical help for it, Patty was unable to attend school or function at normal levels. So Patty stayed at home with her mother and was a very happy individual. Patty was often found enjoying the simple pleasures of life and laughing. She had an infectious laugh.
Due to the death of her father in 1960 and her mother in 1990, Patty was placed in a facility in Twin Falls where she could enjoy her life and be cared for. She spent the remainder of her life in Twin Falls until her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Allen and Leonard; and a sister, Lorna Holloway.
She is survived by a sister, Marilyn Franks; one Aunt, Arthell Murdoch of Salt Lake City, Utah; and many cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, at Riverside Cemetery in Heyburn.
Arrangements are under the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
