Rest in peace my friend. Stan was one of the truly great friends I came across in my long life time. I only knew Stan for a few decades, but I considered him as a life long friend. He was always the shining light among the Idaho historical groups, and I relied on his knowledge when no one else had the answers.

To the family of Stan,
We just want to let you know how much we appreciated your dad. We got to know Stan because our father became a resident at Pomerelle Place in December of last year. Stan sat by our dad at meals. He was so good to our dad, and was always looking out for him, and trying to get him involved in the activities there. Although our dad never did adjust very well, Stan did his best to encourage him. Stan would often be sitting in the front foyer when we came in, and he was so pleasent to visit with. He really was a nice man. We express our heartfelt condolences to your family.

He and his brother, Arlo, placed the cross on Mt. Harrison in memory of the military plane that crashed there going from Mt. Home Air Force Base to Hill Air Force base during WWII. There were no survivors.

My sweet Uncle Stan has left us. I have so many amazing memories of him, Mom, Arlo, and Carma. All gone now but reunited in heaven.
