With great sadness, we announce the passing of Susan M. Keck, 59, of Bentonville, Arkansas, and formerly of Almo, Idaho, who found peace on Friday, July 24, 2026, after a determined battle with cancer.
Susan was born August 22,1966, and was the fourth of five children born to Kenneth E. Baker and Mary Jo (Arnold) Merrell, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Wallace F. Keck; sisters, Sharon Reuter (Mark) and Sharla Fellers; and brothers, David Baker and Kent (Kathleen) Baker.
Susan had great love for her country and was the lead Deputy Clerk and the Elections and Social Services Director in Cassia County, Idaho. She had received her CERA certification and was very proud of this accomplishment.
She loved her family and friends, her dogs, and gardening. She was a talented painter in her younger years. Susan loved to entertain family and friends and was a fantastic cook. Susan had a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews. Her smile lit up a room and her sense of humor was infectious.
There will be a celebration of life in Anthony, Kansas, on August 22, 2026. Urn placement will be at Bluff City Cemetery.
