HAZELTON – John Mark Ottman, a 98-year-old former resident of Hazelton, passed away Monday, May 26, 2026, at Serenity Transitional Care in Twin Falls.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley. Burial with military rites provided by the Mini-Cassia Veterans Group will take place at Paul Cemetery, following the service.

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, and one hour prior to the funeral on Friday.

John was a wonderful person to know and more so to work with. He was a very Christian person and was one of those people that when he talked every one in the room would listen very closely. He was a very kind man and a wonderful farmer. Rest in peace John, job well done.
