Ben was born January 11, 1945, in Wendell, Idaho. He was the third child of Frank and Delsa Cooley Anderson. He was known to his family and friends as Ben and to his black powder friends as “Not A Pilgrim”. Ben was a hardworking provider for his family. He worked as a laborer and drove for Triple C Concrete for 28 years. Known for his no nonsense and slim patience in driving trucks. Which led him to have a no incidence record. Beyond his professional life, Ben loved spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved it when he was hunting and fishing, gathered around a campfire. He loved his family and loved to be with them when his health allowed. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Ben is survived by his wife, Lynda of 59 years; his children, Troy (Kelli) of Malta Idaho, Cory (Gina) of Centerville, Utah, Clay (Polly) of Albion, Idaho and Tate Anderson of Tremonton, Utah; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren with an additional set of twins on the way. He is also survived by his brother, Carl (Brenda) Anderson of Heyburn, Idaho, his sister, Sheryl Anderson of Boise, Idaho and his brother, Ray (Trudy) Anderson of Nampa, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Darwin Anderson, and two sisters, Shirley Fisher and Phyllis Corta.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Albion Ward, located at 889 South Main Street, in Albion, where a visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at the Albion Mormon Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life and the impact he made on those around him.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Albion Senior Citizens or a local charity of choice.

Ben will be remembered for his love of his family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
