RUPERT – Lydia Ann (Miller) Torre, a 77-year-old resident of Rupert, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Mini-Cassia Care Center in Burley.
Lydia was born on February 25, 1948, in Provo, Utah, to Eugene and Edna Miller. She married David Wright on August 31, 1967. They later divorced. To this union were born three children, Carl Wright of Snohomish, Washington, Patricia Sutton of Declo, and Juanita (Don) Wiedenheft of Rupert.
Lydia is survived by her children; six grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; as well as her sisters, Lila Beltz of Boise, Kathy (Brent) Wickel of Albion, and Edna (Jeff) Hutchins of Twin Falls; brothers, Gerald Miller of Twin Falls, and Marvin (Kim) Miller of Leesville, Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews.
Lydia was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Edna Miller; and a brother, Lawrence Miller.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 18 , at Rupert United Methodist Church, located at 605 H St., in Rupert, with pastor Brenda Sene officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
