From Randy & Pam Richards:
Doug and Marion were great, great friends to us. We spent many evenings playing 42 and when at our house, we’d go to the hot tub afterwards. We used to enjoy checking out the hot springs throughout Idaho, mostly Hagerman Hot Srings and then we’d go eat catfish. We had so many wonderful and funny memories with them. They helped us through some hard times which we truly appreciated. Doug and Marion were such Godly people. They told us that they never had a fight during their marriage! We loved them so much and can’t wait for the Great Reunion!
From Laurie McCsll:
Doug the love bug, as my girls aptly called him, was a wonderful man who lived God’s Word and followed His teachings. He was a great example and friend. We will miss him but know he is home where he longed to be.
From April Gibson:
For 48 years, I was privileged to be Doug’s daughter in law. From day one, he made me feel like his daughter. He was kind, loving and fun. A very fine Christian man. I loved him so very much. And I have so many wonderful memories with him and my amazing mother in law. I will miss him always
From Terry Gibson #4son:
My sweet father was one of the best examples of a loving giving helping Christian man. I’d been told a few times I was a lot like my dad and it was a honor for me to be in his shoes. We’ll miss you dad but I know in heaven with mom and the saints is far better than walking on earthly soil. To Jesus be the glory
From Carol A Berkenmeier:
My deepest sympathy to Doug’s family and friends. Such a kind man.
