BURLEY – It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Michael Harris, 74, of Burley on Friday, June 27, 2025. Willie was born on December 19, 1950, in Boise, Idaho, and was the son of Willie Clifton and Jeannine Alice (Wake) Harris.
Willie grew up and attended school in Burley, Idaho. As a young adult, he moved to Oregon and enjoyed many years there full of new experiences and new friendships. He decided to move back to Burley to be close to his parents and family. His family will always remember the precious memories they made, and cherish Willie’s love, patience, and understanding.
Willie had many talents and was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He treasured time fishing with his father and sharing his love of the outdoors with his own children. He was a wonderful father and was the embodiment of unconditional love and support. Willie had an amazing sense of humor and wit and kept everyone laughing. He was very caring and spent many hours caring for his mother before she passed away. He had a special way of making her laugh and smile. Willie will be remembered for his ability to listen and understand, and his humble and thoughtful attitude. All who knew him, loved him.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
