HEYBURN – Edgar Wayne Albert “Eddie”, an 89-year-old resident of Heyburn, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, at his home in Heyburn.

Eddie was born July 20, 1935, in New Plymouth, Idaho, to J. Wayne Albert and Irene Cassingham Albert. He had one sister, Darla. Eddie graduated from New Plymouth High School in May of 1954. He married the love of his life, Reva Woody, on April 29, 1956. They remained married for 55 years, until Reva passed in 2011. They had three children, Mike (Terri), Kay (Dusty), and Monty (Michelle). Eddie was a very dedicated and hard worker and he never retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Darla Lee Cox.

He is survived by his children; many grandkids, great-grandkids, and even some great-great-grandkids.

Eddie’s family would like to give a very special thank you to Sherry Gomez, Liz Crowder, Helen McClure, and Linda Householder for making it possible to keep our promise to Dad to keep him home.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1350 E. 16th St, in Burley, with Pastor Dusty Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Heyburn.

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, and one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.

GPA I would never miss the big days like Christmas breakfast and Thanksgiving breakfast. Everyone needs to go to it if you can! It's something special our family got to enjoy together! Our family is going to miss you grandpa but just think you'll be with the love of your life now she can pick on you and tell you what to do again!
