HEYBURN – Beverly "Beve" Ann Hollibaugh, 82, of Heyburn, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Parke View Care & Rehabilitation Center in Burley.

Beve was born on August 5, 1942, in Buhl, Idaho, to Oleata McHenry and Jacob Ray Crawford. She joined her siblings, Jim, Jeanice, Sarah, and Caroline, with her brother, Jerry, arriving soon after. Beve was raised in Wendell, Idaho, where she attended the local schools.

On March 1, 1959, Beve married the love of her life, Thaddeus R. Hollibaugh. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with three children, Kim (Legrande) Chavez, Kelly (Lisa) Hollibaugh, and Kurt (Monica) Hollibaugh.

Beve worked various jobs throughout the area, including as a manager for Maverik, at the scale house for JR Simplot, and as a proud Avon Representative for over 50 + years — earning the loyalty and love of many in her community.

She had a passion for Bingo, traveling, storytelling, and driving (and proudly boasted she never received a speeding ticket!). Her laughter could light up any room, and she had a quick wit that kept everyone smiling.

Her greatest joy in life was her family — especially her eight grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren, who brought endless pride and happiness to her life.

Beve was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thad; her sisters, Janice, Caroline, and Sarah; her brother, Jimmy; her son-in-law, Tracy Chavez; and her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Chalet and Lucas Ward.

Beve’s legacy of love, laughter, and strength will live on in the many lives she touched.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 2, at Burley United Methodist Church, located at 480 E. 27th St., in Burley, with Pastor Kenneth Haftorson officiating. Burial will follow at Paul Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, and Friday, one hour prior to the service, at the church.

From Carleen Clayville:
Dear. Beve’s family! Beve was so much fun! I enjoyed her so much, she was my Avon lady for so long!
We should all be as fun that she was! I will miss her, rest in peace dear friend! Blessings to you all, enjoy your memories!
From Ed Curtis:
Aunt Bev laughed easily. She always said I love you, and I knew she meant it. She extracted every bit of energy out life, and she made the world a better place. When a friend or relative passes away, I often send this message:
Grief never ends, but it changes
It’s a passage, not a place to stay
Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith
It is the price of love
I am not lost in grief at Bev's passing. She was in so mulch pain, that it came as more of a blessing that she could join her husband Thad again. It was the same for my own mom. If love comes with a price, it may be that the price is being loved fiercly in return. I can think of no better bargain. Rest now, Bev. You have earned it.

From Dee Martinez :
So sorry for your loss. Love you Kim.
From Kris Gonzales:
Some of my earliest memories are of Bev, Thad, and family...the 3 K's (Kim, Kurt and Kelly) and I were often together (whether for no good or otherwise) and were within walking distance of each others homes so, as I said, we were often together and I remember Bev being so much of the joy of those times spent together. She's one of those people who made you feel good just being around them...I don't know if it was how easily she laughed with you, her incredible wit, awesome sense of humor, most probably all of the above, but the warmth you felt when she was around was worth it in itself. She was like a big S'mores...warm and sweet, and comforting and I've loved her for all these decades and will go on loving her...to her family I can tell you that my life was blessed by having known her...I will never forget her...to her family, may you hold each other up and cherish her in your hearts...she was one of the special ones...take care all...much love to you...Kris G.
From Robert Barrera:
I have wonderful memories of you Bev! When you called me for a haircut right now! If not you always had a pair of scissors handy and would start cutting! I will miss you so much! I have memories that will last me a lifetime! May your memories be a blessing!
