From Lacy Chesley :
I still hear my aunt saying, "Well... Pacer." She nicknamed me Pacer. I always thought how beautiful she was, especially when she combed the tangles out of her long, hair.
In 2001, she answered my call in the middle of the night and drove me to the hospital to give birth to my first child, Destiny. I remember rushing down the hall with her, while she encouraged me, "Breathe, you got this, Pacer." Fast forward to July 2024, as I'm in labor with my fifth baby, Aunt Rhonda texted me words of encouragement, praying for a short, safe delivery. As her time on earth drew closer, I texted her on January 16, 2025, sharing Joshua 1:9, reminding her that the Lord would strengthen her. She thanked me and said she received a blessing from me. Aunt Rhonda is a beautiful soul, awaiting our arrival. Until then, we honor her by living as she would want us to. Sending our love.
From Stu Thomas:
Growing up I remember always looking up to my cousin Rhonda, who was just a few years older, but I always admired her as such a worldly, smart, caring and beautiful soul. Condolences to the family for your loss. Rhonda was truly one of a kind.
