From Erykah - San Antonio :
For over many years, it was always beautiful to see Brad and Elizabeth walk everyday to work from the garage. They held their hands and arms together every morning. You could always see the biggest smiles on both of them. My condolences and prayers to remember Brad’s fondest memories.
From Angela Rojas:
Such a beautiful service for a beautiful soul. We were definitely a little family at the San Antonio VA as well. The good ole days. We all loved our out-of-work get togethers. One of my favorite memories was when Lori opened up her home and threw a surprise birthday party for Brad. Definitely a contagious smile that will be unforgotten. My second favorite memories with him were when he'd visit Tony and I super early in the morning before starting patient care. We'd sit and talk, laugh, vent (b#$% and moan as we'd call it), then laugh some more. Brad was one of those who made being at work more fun every single day and had so much knowledge and experience to share. He also had such a way with the veterans, everyone loved him and you could see the pride he took in caring for every person around him. I thank you for the fun you put in all of our lives, Brad. You will be greatly missed, my friend. Prayers for peace and continued healing for the family.
From Monica Huerta:
My deepest condolences. I had the pleasure of working with Brad at the San Antonio VA.
I was paired up with Brad for a couple of weeks at the beginning of my VA career. He was always kind, respectful, and he patiently taught me some physical therapy techniques and methods; all while telling me about all his pets at home. Your kind heart will not be forgotten Brad. I pray that our God is with your family thru this time of mourning.
From Amy Elizabeth Koyle:
Brad- I hope you know how amazing a person you are. So sweet, gentle, and thoughtful. You always had a love of life and exploring everywhere you could. I remember your one thing was always to get to the highest point you could anywhere you were so you could view the world down below you. Well, my Bradley J, you are at the highest point you can be now and I hope it is magnificent. Thank you for the years we had together- I will never forget them. I love you and I miss you.
From Steve McNamara :
Just wanted to add some additional remarks...I just finished watching the livestream of Brad's service with my workmate, Pablo Martinez, also a friend of Brad. We did this while trying to attend to our veterans. It was SO touching. Liz - amazing. Brother - gracefully done under such difficult circumstances. Sisters - the warm anecdotes and expressions of love brought us to tears. You all described the Brad that so many of us here knew and loved.
From Steve McNamara:
Brad was a member of what we consider a family at the Salt Lake VA PT department. I worked with Brad for twelve years. He had a loyal following of veterans who benefit so much from his aquatic therapy program. Brad and I were friends outside of work and would mercilessly tease each other – they were never niceties but always in good fun. I will miss our laughter-filled conversations…the last one being 1/28/2024. Heavy heart as I think back on that.
From Pablo Martinez:
Brad was a great mentor and friend. When I graduated from PTA school and got my 1st job at the Salt Lake VA, Brad took me under his wings, made me feel welcomed and taught me what it meant to be a therapist. He'll truly be missed.
From Curtis Ivins:
On behalf of Brad's team mates at the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center, we express our condolences to Brad's family and friends and especially to Jessica and Jordan, Jana and Amy Elizabeth. He will always be remembered as a great team member, respected PT Assistant, a good mentor to his students and especially for his efforts in the development of a wonderful aquatic therapy program here for our veterans. But above all he will be remembered for being a wonderful, kind, friend who brought joy to those of us who were blessed to know him. He absolutely adored his kids and was always eager to share the successes of Jessica and Jordan. We were sad to see Brad and Amy Elizabeth leave us to head to San Antonio but excited for that opportunity for them. Our hearts are aching and he will be missed by his friends here at the Salt Lake City VA.
From Rob and Mary Cummins:
Much love and prayers at this time for all of the family. May God bless you with peace.
From Teara stands:
My heart goes out to you all! May the Lord be with you during these times! Sending much love to you all!
From Darren Peoples:
We shared many good times my friend. I'll cherish them all. Keep the rubber side down.
From GAYLE DAVIS:
Much love and many prayers go to the Koyle family, and for my two wonderful and beautiful grandchildren. May the Lord bring you comfort and peace at this time of great loss.
From Tony Martinez :
Brad, there are no words to describe the love that I had for you. From the first day that I met you in our clinic here at the VA in San Antonio, I knew that we were going to be bros. We both had the same crazy sense of humor. I remember our daily conversations about our jobs, our lives and the love that we had for our families, especially our children. I really enjoyed our cuz and lunch dates. LOL Thank you for always being there for me on those days when I was struggling myself. I recall we each said to each other one day, "The only reason I come to work is cuz of you." When I retired, it was one of the most difficult things I have ever done in my life. I thank God for blessing me with you, and your gentle spirit. I will never forget you. Thanks for always having KIND BARS in your drawer. That bar was named after you. I love you, man. Thank you for always listening to my music when I shared it with you.
From Derrick Mason:

I’m SO sad right now. My heart hurts for your mom & dad. My heart hurts for your brothers & sisters. My heart is completely shattered for our children, Jessica & Bradley Jordan. I cannot stop crying for their pain and their broken hearts. They loved you so much! I hope that you found your peace and that you are resting now. Love, Jana
From Cindy Koyle Morris :
My deepest condolences. May God comfort you in your time of need.
From Marjorie Jensen:
So sorry for your loss. Prayers for your family.
From Curtis Patterson:
My sincerest condolences for your loss. I will always remember Brad was a kind, respectful, and honest young man. He loved riding his bike, and would ride it to my store in all kinds of weather. He was a good man!
From Jordan koyle:
I’ll never forget all the time I got to spend with you dad! I will sure love and miss you.
From Linda Monk:
