Dear Simmons family, so sorry for your loss. I just saw the post of Nephi I want to say how much I enjoyed working with him for the 5 plus years at CAL Ranch. Best wishes to your family.
From Aunt Shirley Badger:
So sad to learn of the death of your Father, Beth. I am so grateful for the posts we find on the Internet that can keep us updated of happenings which can be either happy or sad. Losing a parent is not an easy thing, and I always looked forward to the day that I could take my Mother, Leah, and go and do all the things that Dad thought was not necessary. But it was my Father, Tola, whom we took into our home after Mom passed away. Dennis and Dad did a lot of things together and I knew, as I watched them visit and work together, that they needed that time together, to become friends and learn from one another. Dad was so afraid of dying and he brought himself back two or three times before he let himself pass through the veil. He was so fear-full of what was waiting for him on the other side. We send our love to you and pray that all goes well as you plan and prepare for the funeral and burial.
From Chris James:
Nephi has been a great example to me. He was a stalwart individual with a strong testimony. He was a hard worker and always looking out for others. I will miss visiting with him. May the Lord provide comfort to you during this difficult time.
