From Gwen Montgomery :
Wes was “one of a kind”! His magnetic personality, quick wit and keen intelligence were certainly gifs from God. He used them to the utmost to improve others lives. He was fantastic on the East Cassia soil and water conservation board. All of us who were privileged to serve on this board with him, have wonderful forever memories. Joan always said she didn’t miss not having children too much because she has Wes and all our kids through 4-H. I will cherish the memories. Gods speed my friend. Rest well in the arms of our savior. My most sincere condolences to his wife Cathy and your families.
From Kali Mendenhall:
We had the pleasure of being neighbors to Wes and Joan and what a treat that was. They quickly became family. Wes surely made this world a better place. He will be so missed.
From Heather Holtman Crumley:
It's hard to think back to a time that I didn't have Wes and Joan in my life. So many fun times as a teenager spending time doing 4H stuff with Joan or riding around in the boat with Wes. He was always the life of the party and so much fun to be around. He and Joan complimented each other so well. I didn't get to see them as much after I moved to Texas, but whenever I came home, I tried to catch a meal with them or have a quick visit at the house. So many memories that I'm really grateful for. My condolences to his family and friends.
From Debi Barnes :
So hard to believe that Wes is gone. I have a lifetime of memories with Joan and Wes. 50 plus years. Joan hired me to work with her and DelRay worked for Wes on his farm in Idahome. He was the life of the party. His home was always open to all his friends. He was an amazing host. We went snowmobiling, boating and spent many fun holidays with Joan and Wes. He will be missed but forever in my heart. I'll never forget his smile and sense of humor.
From Terry Bohle Montague:
The Parrs have always been great friends with the Bohles and we valued that friendship. We're so sorry to hear about Wes' passing.

From Jerry Meireis:
I had the privilege of knowing Wes for a number of years as we went to Fort Knox, Kentucky for boot camp and several years later he was the best Man in our wedding. Wes was one of those people that seemed to always be in a good mood and was enjoyable to visit with whenever your paths crossed. Rest in peace Wes, you made this world a better place.
From Christopher James Parr:
Wes was always a great storyteller and was always funny. He would tell stories in a way that was so funny there would not be a dry eye in the place. His presence will be missed. Rest in peace, Wes.
From Gene Thompson:
Wes and I got to work together a lot out at the ranch. He had finally come home with a wife and a dog to work with his dad and uncles. Joan stayed home and the dog (Chris) went with him everywhere. Wes used to make some of the weirdest contraptions, our favorite was the tractor seat welded to a washing machine motor. It was the original mechanical bull. No one could stay on once you started to spin.
From Sheila Adams :
Always a character and fun to be around. He and Joan did a lot for the community.
My condolences to the family.
From Sharon Hardy:
