"Grandma" had so many friends that loved her and were effected by her. Grandma loved folkloric dancing, when we were little, she was so proud to teach all of her grandkids and neighbors to dance. She loved being a part of her church group "The Guadalupanas". My grandma made the best food, and her house was the neighborhood hangout when we were kids. She hated for us to pick her apricots and plums but most of all she hated for us to climb onto the roof or on the trees. I don't know how she kept up with all of us but she did and she loved us all the same. My grandfather passed when she was in her 40's and as I grew older I wondered how she did it alone but then realized that she was never alone, she was always surrounded by her family and friends. I will cherish all the memories I have with my little grandma, her smile, her laugh, her working in her garden, sitting in her room watching her Novelas. I like to think that she is with my grandpa now & with her family.
