Randy Jeramy Jones PAUL – Randy “Jeramy” Jones, a 53-year-old resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming, formerly of Paul, Idaho, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, in Rock Springs.

Jeramy was born November 2, 1972, in Burley, Idaho, to Randy Edward and Sandra Lee Draper Jones. He was welcomed into the family by his two older sisters, Shanna Lee and Stephanie Dawn, and was later joined by siblings, Mandy Shenee, Tyson Brett, Kirsten Kathleen, and Joshua Eric.

Jeramy spent his early years in Paul, Idaho, where he attended grade school, later going on to West Minico Middle School and graduating from Minico High School in 1991. Shortly after, he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania from 1992 to 1994, an experience that deeply shaped his life and strengthened his lifelong commitment to service and faith.

He worked at Swensen’s Market in Paul during high school and for a time after his mission before continuing his education. Jeramy earned his Associate Degree in Arts and Sciences from Ricks College on April 27, 1996. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from Idaho State University on May 16, 1998, and later completed his Doctorate of Pharmacology on August 9, 2002.

Jeramy built a meaningful career as a pharmacist, serving communities in Pocatello, Idaho; Ogden, Utah; Riverton, Wyoming; Twin Falls, Idaho; Worland, Wyoming; Thermopolis, Wyoming; and most recently, Rock Springs, Wyoming. He was a dedicated and hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family. In addition to his professional career, he also served his communities as a volunteer firefighter and EMT, always willing to help those in need.

Jeramy was a faithful and active member of his church, where he served in many callings throughout his life. He truly loved serving others.

He had a deep love for his family and cherished every moment spent with them. Whether it was hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, or simply being together, Jeramy made those moments special. He was his children’s biggest supporter and found great joy in watching them grow, succeed, and pursue their passions.

From childhood, Jeramy was known for his ever-present smile and quick sense of humor. He had a gift for making people laugh and brightening even the hardest days. His kindness, laughter, and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Jeramy was incredibly proud of his children and grandchildren, whom he loved deeply: Sakoya (Marshall) McArthur and their daughters, Brynlee, Brooklyn, Blakely, and Blair of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Saige Jones of St. George, Utah; Denali (Kody) Gotfredson, who are expecting a baby in July, of Laramie, Wyoming; Derringer Jones of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and Wynter Jones and Wyatt Jones of Worland, Wyoming.

He is survived by his loving parents, Randy Edward Jones and Sandra Lee Draper Jones; his children and grandchildren; and his siblings: Shanna (RJ) Lindsay, Stephanie (Wes) Lindsay, Mandy (James) Harper, Kristen (Callin) May, Tyson (Carrie) Jones, and Joshua (Natalie) Jones, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Boyd and Faye Jones, and Carmen and Donna Draper; as well as his nephew, Callahan Jay May.

Jeramy will be remembered for his bright smile, his quick wit, his unwavering work ethic, and above all his deep and abiding love for his family. His legacy of kindness, service, and laughter will live on in all who knew and loved him.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 10, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Paul Stake Center, located at 424 W. Ellis St., in Paul, with Bishop Juan Perez officiating. Burial will follow at Paul Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, and Friday, one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

In honor of Jeramy and his favorite color, the family kindly asks that attendees wear purple.
