BURLEY – Gene Maurice Phillips, a 83-year-old resident of Burley, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, at Highland Estates Assisted Living & Memory Care.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, located at 802 F Street, in Rupert, with the Reverend Father Camilo Garcia as celebrant. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Heyburn. Following the interment service a luncheon for family and friends will be served at the parish hall.

Family and friends will be received from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, at the church with the recitation of the holy rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m.
