Amee Baliola Fiscus

May 8, 1960 - Feb. 1, 2025

Date of Service: Feb. 8, 2025

Amee Baliola Fiscus BURLEY – Amee Baliola Buttars Fiscus, a 64-year-old resident of Burley, was called home by angels on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at her home after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Amee was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, whose kindness and laughter left an unforgettable mark on all who knew her.

Amee is the cherished daughter of Tony (90) and Mercy Baliola (85) who reside in their home country of the Philippines. Amee was the oldest of ten siblings. She was a guiding force, a second mother to many, and an adored aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved deeply.

Amee dedicated 30 years of her life working at Kraft USA, later known as Brewster Cheese, in Rupert, where she forged lifelong friendships. Whether she was cooking up a feast, fishing with Tim, or riding on the back of his motorcycle alongside their best friends, Amee embraced life with a vibrant spirit. She was always the first to offer a helping hand, often volunteering with Tim at the Elks Lodge on Thanksgiving, ensuring that others felt cared for and loved. Her infectious laugh and radiant smile could light up any room, and her warmth and generosity knew no bounds.

Amee is lovingly remembered and survived by her husband of nearly 14 years, but best friend of 31 years, Tim Fiscus (59); her son, Anthony Wayne Fiscus (29); her beloved granddaughter – who is the light of her life – Amethyst Wyld Sue Fiscus (3); her parents, Tony and Mercy Baliola; and her numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 8, at Zion Lutheran Church, located at 2410 Miller Avenue, in Burley, with the Reverend Alexander G. Lissow officiating.

Family and friends will be received from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, February 7, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th Street, in Burley, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

In honor of Amee’s giving nature, the family kindly requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, supporting cancer research and care. Donations can be made online at www.dana-farber.org or by mail in Amee’s name. Amee’s life was a beautiful story of love, resilience, and selflessness. A story that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Arrangements are under the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
