Milo Dee Hatt BURLEY – Milo Dee Hatt, a 70-year-old resident of Burley, died Saturday, September 14, 2024, at his home.

He was born September 1, 1954, in Driggs, Idaho, the son of Thomas Jay and Jesse Waddell Morgan Hatt. He received his education in Burley and graduated from Burley High School in 1975. He attended the College of Southern Idaho and completed his education in drafting.

Milo married Teresa Buckley Burton on July 24, 1990 in Burley. Their marriage was solemnized in the Twin Falls Idaho Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He worked for M H King for more than 20 years and retired in the accounts receivable department of Handy Truck Line.

Milo loved being outdoors. He enjoyed Motocross racing, golf, tennis, camping and running the dogs. He was also instrumental in working with the U.S. Forest Service in making campgrounds handicapped accessible; starting first with the Rock Creek CampGround and continuing on with many others.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Hatt of Burley; his children, Kristine (Jason) Haynes of Bellevue, Angela (Jason) Martin of Boise, Gerald (Syrah) Burton of Burley, Mike (Robin) Burton of Dietrich, and Kimalee (Luke) Woodhouse of Heyburn; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Mickey Hatt of Burley, Morgan (Janet) Hatt of Lehi, Utah, Milton (LeAnn) Hatt of St. George, Utah, Marvin (Georgia) Hatt of American Falls, and Marty Hatt of Burley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 23, at Pleasant View Cemetery, located at 1645 East 16th Street, in Burley.

Prior to the graveside service, family and friends will be received from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Monday, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, 1350 East 16th Street, in Burley.
