RUPERT – Kingston Ivan Montoya Gonzalez, the two-year-old son of Rigoberto Montoya Chacon and Angelica Marie Gonzalez, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Minidoka Memorial Hospital in Rupert.

Kingston was born May 27, 2021, the son of Rigoberto Montoya Chacon and Angelica M. Gonzalez.

Kingston is survived by his parents, Rigoberto and Angelica; his maternal grandparents, Antonio and Maria Gonzalez; his paternal grandparents Rico and Cruz Montoya Chacon; and his siblings, Monai Vega, Anthony Castro, Brynne Faith Wilson, Jenay Castro, Kaleo Gonzalez, Maddox Patron Gonzalez, Nyaleah Montoya, and Rigoberto Montoya III.

A vigil service will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, with the recitation of the rosary beginning at 6 p.m.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, located at 802 F Street, in Rupert, with the Reverend Father Camilo Garcia as celebrant. Burial will follow at Rupert Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
